Role Description The Graphic Design Intern role is an internship position with remote work flexibility. The intern will support the creation of visual assets for digital news content, including social media graphics, article illustrations, infographics, and basic layout elements. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in the development of brand-aligned visual concepts, refining existing designs, preparing files for online publication,



and collaborating with editors and content creators to ensure visuals are clear, consistent, and engaging.

The intern may also help with logo variations, image sourcing and editing, and maintaining a cohesive visual identity across digital channels.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create clear, engaging visual content for digital platforms.
- Skills in Logo Design and Branding, with an understanding of visual identity, consistency, and brand guidelines.
- Proficiency in Image Editing, including basic retouching, resizing, and optimizing visuals for web and social media.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, or similar software.
- Basic understanding of digital media, online publishing, or social media content is beneficial.
- Robust attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow creative direction while working independently.
- Relevant coursework or portfolio demonstrating design work; studying or having recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is an advantage.
