About the Role

We are a growing home-based gifting business specialising in curated return gifts and personalised gifting for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, housewarmings, festivals and other celebrations.

We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive Gifting & E-Commerce Operations

Executive who can manage day-to-day product, sourcing, inventory and digital activities.

This is an all-round role for someone who enjoys discovering products, working with suppliers, creating attractive content and building a new brand from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Curation & Sourcing

Research and identify attractive and unique gifting products. Visit wholesale markets and suppliers when required.

Identify products across different customer budgets and occasions.

Compare supplier prices, quality, MOQ and availability.

Recommend new products and collections.

- Supplier Management

Identify and maintain relationships with gifting and packaging suppliers.

Communicate with suppliers through calls and WhatsApp.

Obtain catalogues, prices and samples.

Negotiate prices and minimum quantities.

Coordinate purchases and deliveries.

Maintain an updated supplier database.

- Inventory Management

Maintain accurate product and stock records using Excel/Google Sheets.

Assign SKU numbers and maintain product information.

Monitor stock levels and samples.

Record purchases, sales and stock movement.

Organise and maintain the product/sample area.





Conduct regular physical stock checks.

1. Product Photography & Video

Photograph products using a smartphone. Create attractive product videos and Reels.

Arrange products creatively for photography.

Maintain an organised digital library of product images and videos.

Photograph packaging, gift combinations and completed orders.

- Instagram & Digital Content

Manage the business Instagram page.

Create and publish posts, Reels and Stories.

Prepare simple creatives using Canva.

Write captions and basic promotional content.

Maintain Instagram highlights and product collections.

Monitor trends and competitor pages.

Respond to Instagram comments and enquiries.

1. WhatsApp Business

Maintain the WhatsApp product catalogue. Share suitable products with customers.

Respond to customer enquiries.

Record customer requirements, budgets, quantities and event dates.

Follow up with potential customers.

- Order & Packing Coordination

Coordinate customer orders.

Check product availability.

Coordinate sourcing and purchasing.

Assist with customised packaging.

Ensure products are packed neatly and correctly.

Coordinate deliveries.

- Market Research

Research new gifting trends.

Monitor competitor pricing and products.

Identify customer preferences.





Suggest new product categories and seasonal collections.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Creative and visually oriented

Highly organised

Comfortable with Instagram and WhatsApp

Good at smartphone photography and video

Comfortable using Canva

Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets

Good at communicating with suppliers

Comfortable visiting markets and sourcing products

Good in spoken Tamil and English

Proactive and willing to take ownership

Comfortable working independently

Interested in fashion, gifting, lifestyle, dcor or retail products

Preferred Experience
