Role Description The General Manager – Leisure Travel role is a part-time, on-site position based in Rajkot. The role involves overseeing the leisure travel business unit, including developing travel packages, managing relationships with travel partners and vendors, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients.

The General

Manager will monitor sales performance, manage budgets, and implement strategies to grow the leisure travel segment while maintaining cost efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include supervising the travel operations team, resolving escalated customer issues, reviewing itineraries and proposals for accuracy,



and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. The role also requires regular reporting to senior leadership and identifying opportunities to integrate technology-driven solutions to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

- Experience in leisure travel management, including designing travel packages, handling bookings, and coordinating with travel agents, tour operators, and hospitality partners.
- Solid background in operations and business management, with skills in budgeting, performance monitoring, and process optimization.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, and allocate resources effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle escalations and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Familiarity with travel industry tools and technology platforms, including reservation systems and CRM solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on service quality and compliance.
