General Manager – Internal Audit, based at Mumbai

Candidate should be CA with over 15 years’ experience in leading Internal Audits, preferably in Shipping and Logistics industry.

Job responsibilities include:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit strategy and annual audit plan based on thorough risk assessments.
- Lead, execute, and report on internal audits covering financial, operational, and compliance aspects of the organization.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance frameworks.
- Prepare and present explicit, concise audit reports and findings to senior management.
- Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and controls, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- stay updated on regulatory changes.

Excellent Communication both Oral and Written are a prerequisite for the position.
