Our team at SS Buildtech Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and highly capable General Manager – Construction / Civil to lead and oversee the execution of multiple construction projects and sites.

The candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination, supervision, planning, and execution of construction sites. They should possess solid technical knowledge and relevant hands-on expertise. The candidate should also have prior experience participating in tenders of new projects and negotiation meetings.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the execution and overall performance of multiple construction sites, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
- Ensure effective coordination between project teams, consultants, contractors, and management.
- Lead and supervise Project Managers, Site Engineers, contractors, and other site personnel across multiple projects.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and productivity targets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Indian Standards (IS Codes) and construction best practices.
- Monitor material, manpower, machinery, and other resources to ensure efficient utilization and minimize wastage.
- Prepare site reports, reconciliations, and resolve on-site technical issues.
- Prepare and participate in tenders and negotiation processes for future works.

Candidate Profile Essential Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience managing multiple construction projects/sites simultaneously.




- Strong experience in large-scale building/infrastructure/construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing senior site teams, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, quality control, safety, and site execution.
- Experience in handling projects from mobilization through completion and handover.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a senior, hands-on construction professional who has progressed through site and project management roles and has substantial experience independently managing multiple projects. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of execution, identify problems before they become critical, hold site teams accountable, and work closely with the Director – Civil Works to ensure that all projects are delivered with the required quality, speed, safety, and cost discipline.
