Must-Have Skills

- 46 years of experience in GCP / Cloud Engineering / Data Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery.

- Positive expertise in dbt and data transformation/modeling.

- Strong understanding of GCP services, cloud architecture, IAM, networking, monitoring, and security.

- Strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge.

- Experience with cloud performance tuning, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.

- Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.

- Ability to independently lead technical discussions and provide recommendations to clients.

- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

Good to Have

- Experience with Python and data engineering frameworks.

- Knowledge of Cloud Composer/Airflow, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and related GCP services.

- Exposure to CI/CD, Terraform/IaC, DevOps practices, and cloud governance.

- Experience working in an IT consulting / professional services environment.

- GCP certification would be an advantage.
