Role: GCP DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate should have experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, managing cloud environments, and building reliable deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible or Puppet.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments using Kubernetes, preferably GKE.
- Write scripts using Python, Bash, or Go to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot deployment issues, and ensure system reliability and availability.
- Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and access controls.




- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment processes and infrastructure scalability.

Mandatory Skills
- 3-8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet for configuration management.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Positive understanding of Linux, networking, cloud security, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Familiarity with GCP services such as IAM, Compute Engine, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Knowledge of Git, monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
