Role Overview:

We are looking for a D365 F&O; Finance Functional Consultant with a qualified accounting background (CA / CMA) to join our Technology Consulting practice. The role involves hands-on module configuration, functional testing, client advisory, and business process mapping across core Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules. Full lifecycle implementation experience is valued but not mandatory for candidates with strong functional consulting and support background.

Experience & Educational Requirements:

- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA / ICWAI).
- Functional Track Record: Minimum 2+ years of post-qualification hands-on consulting, configuration, or support experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance / AX.
- Implementation Experience: Full lifecycle implementation exposure is an added advantage, but candidates with robust enhancement, rollout, and consulting support experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Certification:



Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) is preferred.

Core Technical Expertise & Module Knowledge:

- Financial Foundations: Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash & Bank Management, and Fixed Assets.
- Statutory & Localization: Understanding of Indian Localization (Tax Engine/GTE, GST, TDS/TCS, and e-invoicing).
- Inventory & Costing: Working knowledge of Inventory Posting Profiles, Costing Versions, and valuation principles (FIFO, Weighted Average, Standard Cost).
- Data & Deliverables: Experience with Data Management Framework (DMF/DIXF) for data migration/opening balances, Functional Design Documents (FDD), and UAT support.
- Advanced Modules (Good to Have): Exposure to Budget Control, Project Management and Accounting (PMA), or Subscription Billing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver functional configuration, system enhancements, and consulting support across core D365 F&O; Finance modules.
- Translate client accounting processes into standard D365 functional requirements and documentation (BRD/FDD).
- Coordinate with technical/development teams on integrations, custom reports, and testing scenarios.
- Assist clients through functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover tasks, and post-go-live stabilization.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Qualified CA (Preferred) or CMA with minimum 2 years post-qualification functional experience in D365 F&O; Finance.
- Candidates from IT Consulting / System Integrator / Advisory backgrounds preferred over pure corporate shared-services accounting.
- Independent module understanding and problem-solving capability.
- Immediate joiners preferred; notice period up to 30 - 45 days acceptable.
