Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Full-Stack Power BI Developer to own BI solutions end-to-end, from data extraction and SQL development to data modelling, Power Query, DAX, report development, deployment, and Power BI Service administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop end-to-end Business Intelligence and Power BI solutions.
- Build reporting-ready SQL tables, views, stored procedures, and data structures from ERP and transactional data sources.
- Develop optimised T-SQL queries, troubleshoot performance issues, and tune queries.
- Design and implement dimensional data models, including star schemas, fact tables, dimensions, fact grain, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
- Build and maintain high-quality Power BI semantic models.
- Develop complex data transformations using Power Query / M.
- Write advanced DAX measures and calculations, including time intelligence and performance-optimised calculations.
- Work with calculation groups and advanced DAX techniques to improve model flexibility and maintainability.
- Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually effective Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Manage the complete Power BI development lifecycle from data preparation through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Administer Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, deployment pipelines, gateways, refresh schedules, incremental refresh, security, and access management.
- Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS)



and appropriate access controls.
- Establish development standards, naming conventions, documentation, performance guidelines, and reusable BI patterns.
- Follow strong source control and release management practices using Git, Power BI Projects (PBIP), or equivalent tools.
- Troubleshoot Power BI model, report, refresh, gateway, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and other technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level Power BI developers and provide technical guidance where required.

Must-Have Skills :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence / Power BI Development.
- Strong experience developing complete end-to-end Power BI solutions.
- Advanced T-SQL skills, including:

- Complex queries

- Views

- Stored procedures

- Query optimisation and tuning
- Reporting-ready tables

- ERP / transactional data
- Strong understanding of dimensional data modelling, including:

- Star schema

- Fact and dimension tables

- Fact grain

- Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)
- Solid experience building Power BI semantic models.
- Advanced Power Query / M experience.
- Advanced DAX skills, including:

- Time intelligence

- Complex measures

- Calculation groups

- Performance optimization




- Strong Power BI report and dashboard design skills with a focus on usability and user experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Service administration, including:

- Workspaces

- Apps

- Deployment pipelines
- On-premises data gateways

- Scheduled refresh

- Incremental refresh
- Row-Level Security (RLS)

- Access management
- Experience with Git, Power BI Projects (PBIP), or equivalent source-control/release-management practices.
- Strong understanding of BI development, deployment, and production support processes.
