The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Full Stack Engineering Lead to own the design and delivery of secure, scalable, cloud-native applications. The successful candidate will combine strong full-stack engineering depth with technical leadership, guiding architecture and implementation while mentoring engineers and partnering with product, business, and global technology stakeholders. This role is accountable for engineering outcomes across the software lifecycle—from discovery and design through development, release, and production support—and will help advance AI-assisted engineering, automation, quality, and operational resilience across the team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of modern full-stack applications and platform capabilities.

Remain hands-on in solution design, prototyping, coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues.

Build responsive user experiences using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, or comparable modern front-end technologies.

Design and implement backend services using C#/.NET, Java, or Python, with well-structured REST APIs and microservices.

Drive cloud-native engineering on AWS or a comparable cloud platform, including containerization and infrastructure as code.

Own technical delivery from concept to production, balancing business priorities, scalability, security, maintainability, and time to market.

Partner with product, business, architecture, data, security, and global engineering teams to shape solutions and deliver integrations.

Champion automated testing, code quality, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, performance, and operational resilience.

Mentor engineers, set clear technical direction, raise engineering standards, and foster a culture of ownership, accountability,



collaboration, and continuous learning.

Apply AI-assisted development tools and emerging engineering practices responsibly to improve productivity, quality, and delivery speed.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including technical leadership of full-stack solutions and delivery teams.

Demonstrated ability to lead architecture and delivery while contributing directly to critical design and engineering work.

Strong proficiency in at least one contemporary backend stack: C#/.NET, Java, or Python; ability to guide engineers working across multiple technologies.

Hands-on experience with a modern front-end framework, preferably React, and strong working knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Proven experience designing RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and microservices using sound object-oriented design and engineering principles.

Strong experience with AWS or another major cloud platform, including application deployment, scaling, security, and production operations.

Experience with relational databases and SQL; working knowledge of NoSQL and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake is valuable.

Experience with Git-based development, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.





Hands-on knowledge of Docker and infrastructure-as-code practices; experience with Terraform or equivalent tooling.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration platforms.

Knowledge of event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, caching, and high-volume distributed systems.

Experience with Snowflake, DynamoDB, or comparable cloud-native data technologies.

Experience using AI-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent, with appropriate governance and review practices.

Knowledge of performance tuning, application security, observability, and production support for large-scale applications.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments and partnering with globally distributed teams. Exposure to financial services, investment management, finance, operations, risk, or related enterprise domains.
