Job Summary

Pikme is looking for a skilled Website Developer to develop, maintain, and improve our website. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, experience in responsive website development, website performance optimisation, and the ability to implement SEO-friendly website structures.

The candidate will be responsible for improving website functionality, loading speed, user experience, and technical performance while ensuring the website is properly structured for future SEO implementation and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website Development and Maintenance

- Develop, maintain, and improve the existing website.
- Create responsive and mobile-friendly web pages.
- Improve website design, navigation, functionality, and user experience.
- Develop reusable page templates and dynamic pages wherever required.
- Fix website bugs, broken links, layout issues, and functionality errors.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Integrate APIs, databases, or CMS platforms as required.

2. Website Performance Optimisation

- Improve website loading speed and overall performance.
- Optimise Core Web Vitals, including LCP, INP, and CLS.
- Optimise images, scripts, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Identify and resolve technical issues affecting website performance.
- Ensure the website is scalable and easy to maintain.

3. SEO-Friendly Website Development

- Develop SEO-friendly website architecture and URL structures.
- Implement proper HTML structure, heading tags,



and internal linking.
- Enable the implementation of meta titles, meta descriptions, canonical tags, and structured data.
- Ensure search engines can crawl, render, and index relevant website pages.
- Implement XML sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, and other technical requirements as needed.
- Work with the SEO team to implement technical SEO recommendations.

4. Dynamic Pages and Scalability

- Develop reusable templates for creating multiple landing pages.
- Implement dynamic page generation using structured data, databases, or CMS platforms.
- Ensure new pages can be added efficiently without compromising website performance.
- Support future programmatic SEO implementation by creating scalable page structures and templates.

5. Testing and Ongoing Improvements

- Test website functionality before and after deployment.
- Monitor website errors and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain website security, code quality, and reliability.
- Coordinate with SEO and content teams to implement website improvements.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Experience with modern frontend or backend frameworks relevant to the existing website.




- Experience with website maintenance, debugging, and performance optimisation.
- Knowledge of APIs, databases, CMS platforms, or dynamic website development.
- Understanding of SEO-friendly website development and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions independently.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing websites with scalable page structures.
- Knowledge of technical SEO implementation and structured data.
- Experience working with travel, tourism, or service-based websites.
- Familiarity with website deployment, hosting, version control, and security best practices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
