Full Stack Developer (MERN + Generative AI)

About the role

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer who can build and ship web applications with the MERN stack and integrate Generative AI features into them. You'll work on product features end to end, from the database and APIs to the UI, and help deploy and maintain what you build.

What you'll do

- Build and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js
- Design clean, scalable REST APIs and database schemas
- Integrate LLM-based features such as chatbots, RAG pipelines, summarisation, and content generation, using APIs like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini
- Write and refine prompts, and handle embeddings, vector search, and context management
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications on cloud platforms
- Write clean, testable code and take part in code reviews

What we're looking for

Must have

- At least 2 years of professional experience with the MERN stack




- Strong JavaScript/ES6+ (TypeScript is a plus)
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into real applications
- Understanding of REST APIs, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and database design
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows
- Valuable to have (basic DevOps)
- Docker and containerisation basics
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions or similar
- Deployment experience on AWS, GCP, Azure, or Vercel
- Familiarity with Nginx, Linux, and environment management

Bonus

- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, pgvector)
- Experience with Python for AI/ML scripts
- Prior work on AI-powered products you can show us
