Role Description: The Freight Broker at Klutch Logistics Inc. is responsible for managing day-to-day freight operations between shippers and carriers. This full-time remote role includes sourcing and negotiating rates with carriers, coordinating loads, and overseeing dispatch activities to ensure on-time delivery.

The Freight

Broker will maintain and grow client accounts by providing responsive, professional customer service and proactive shipment updates. Daily tasks involve entering and tracking loads in systems, resolving service issues, and collaborating with logistics partners to optimize routes and capacity. The role also involves identifying current business opportunities and supporting continuous improvement in brokerage processes.

Qualifications:





- Candidates must already have a book of business.
- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, including negotiating rates, matching loads with carriers, and managing the full shipment lifecycle.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and support repeat business.
- Candidates should possess Dispatching skills, including coordinating pick-ups and deliveries, tracking shipments, and communicating clearly with drivers and carriers.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple loads and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or a closely related transportation role.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems, spreadsheets, and basic office software; familiarity with North American trucking lanes is an asset.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrate sound judgment, and uphold ethical, non-discriminatory business practices.
- Relevant education in logistics, supply chain, business, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
