Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Freelance Video Editor at Orchcast.AI.

The Freelance Video

Editor will edit and produce video content for marketing campaigns, product explainers, social media, and multi-channel brand assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting and assembling clips, applying transitions and effects, and syncing audio to create polished, on-brand videos. The role involves color grading to ensure visual consistency, incorporating motion graphics and static graphics, and adapting content formats for different platforms.

The Freelance Video

Editor will collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams, follow brand guidelines for each client workspace, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in an agile, remote environment.

Qualifications





- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for marketing and brand-focused content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual aesthetics.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand expression.
- Advanced proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and adapt content to multiple channels and formats.
- Robust attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant video work for brands, agencies, or digital marketing campaigns; experience with AI-driven workflows is a plus.

What will you do

- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Create product demos, tutorials, launch videos, and promotional content for B2B and B2C audiences.
- Turn screen recordings, scripts, voiceovers, and raw footage into polished videos.
- Add motion graphics, captions, sound design, transitions, and branded animations.
- Develop strong opening hooks, clear storytelling,



and effective calls to action.
- Adapt videos for different platforms, aspect ratios, and audiences.
- Collaborate with the team, incorporate feedback, and meet agreed deadlines.
- Organize project files and maintain consistent visual branding.

What we are looking for

- A portfolio showing strong video editing, pacing, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or a comparable editing tool.
- Experience with After Effects or similar motion graphics software.
- Ability to explain software features through clear, engaging visuals.
- Good judgment around typography, music, sound, and visual composition.
- Clear communication and reliable availability during agreed Vancouver overlap hours.

Nice to have

- Experience editing content for SaaS, technology, or AI brands.
- Familiarity with AI video and voiceover tools.
- Experience with anime-inspired animation or stylized promotional videos.
- Experience improving videos based on audience retention and engagement data.
