A highly hands-on FPV Drone System Integration Engineer responsible for end-to-end drone development, electronics integration, tuning, payload integration, and mission testing.
This role demands deep expertise across the entire FPV electronics stack, from component selection to real-world deployment in tactical and high-performance environments.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End FPV Drone Integration
Build and integrate complete FPV drones from scratch, including:
o
Flight Controller (FC) & ESC stacks o
Motors & propeller selection o
Frame selection based on mission profile o
Power systems (LiPo, BEC, regulators)
Ensure clean wiring, EMI shielding, and robust assembly
Complete Electronics Ecosystem Expertise (Critical Requirement)
Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with all FPV electronics components, including:
Flight Controllers (FC) & ESC stacks o
Stack integration, pin mapping, UART management
Motors & Propellers o
KV selection, thrust-to-weight optimisation
Frames o
Structural considerations for payload & durability
Video Transmission Systems (VTX)
o
Analogue & digital systems, frequency management, power tuning
FPV Goggles & Ground Systems o
Signal optimisation, latency considerations
Receivers & Radio Systems o
ELRS, Crossfire, SBUS, CRSF protocols
Cameras o
FPV cameras, thermal cameras, payload cameras
Power Distribution o
