About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing technology-enabled startup, is looking for an experienced CTO / Head of Technology to lead its technology strategy, product architecture, engineering team and technology roadmap.

This is a key leadership position for a technology skilled who can build scalable, secure and high-performance digital platforms from the ground up. The CTO / Head of Technology will work closely with the business and leadership teams to translate business requirements into robust technology solutions.

The role will involve building and scaling the Customer App, Partner App and Admin/Control Tower, while taking ownership of backend architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and overall platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Leadership

- Define and execute the company's technology strategy and long-term technology roadmap.

- Lead technology architecture and make strategic decisions on platforms, frameworks and infrastructure.

- Align technology development with business objectives, customer requirements and growth plans.

- Build a scalable technology foundation to support rapid business expansion.

Product & Platform Architecture

- Lead the architecture and development of the Customer App, Partner App and Admin/Control Tower.

- Design scalable, modular and high-performance technology platforms.

- Own backend architecture, APIs, databases and system integrations.

- Ensure seamless integration between customer, partner, operations and administrative platforms.

Engineering & Team Management

- Lead, mentor and build a high-performing technology and engineering team.

- Define engineering standards, development processes, code quality practices and delivery frameworks.

- Establish an agile and efficient product development environment.

- Manage technology hiring, team structure and technical capability development.

Cloud, Infrastructure & Security





- Own cloud infrastructure, DevOps, deployment, monitoring and system reliability.

- Ensure scalability and high availability of technology platforms.

- Establish robust cybersecurity, data protection and access-control practices.

- Implement disaster recovery, backup, monitoring and business-continuity processes.

- Continuously identify and resolve technology performance and infrastructure challenges.

Scalability & Reliability

- Build technology systems capable of supporting multi-city and high-volume operations.

- Monitor platform performance, uptime, latency and scalability.

- Establish processes for application monitoring, incident management and technical troubleshooting.

- Ensure technology architecture can support future product and business expansion.
