About the roleWe are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who can turn customer problems into working AI solutions.You will work directly with customers and our engineering team to understand business workflows, design solutions, build integrations, and deploy AI applications into customer environments. This is a hands-on engineering role—not a purely advisory or pre-sales position.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills, practical AI experience, and the ability to communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders.

What you’ll do

- Lead technical discovery with customers to understand workflows, data sources, requirements, and success criteria.
- Translate business needs into solution architectures, implementation plans, and production-ready applications.
- Build AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, document-processing workflows, and enterprise automation solutions.
- Integrate applications with customer APIs, databases, document repositories, and business systems.
- Develop backend services, data pipelines, and tools that support reliable AI workflows.
- Build and deploy within customer-specific infrastructure, access controls, and security requirements.
- Evaluate solution quality, including accuracy, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Troubleshoot issues across models, prompts, retrieval, integrations, and application infrastructure.
- Work with customer stakeholders to support testing, adoption,



and production rollout.
- Turn lessons from customer implementations into reusable components and improvements to the core platform.
- Maintain transparent technical documentation, deployment guides, and handover materials.

What we’re looking for
- Strong software engineering experience, with proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Experience building and deploying applications with APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, structured outputs, and AI application development.
- Practical understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval evaluation.
- Ability to debug end-to-end systems and make thoughtful tradeoffs across quality, performance, cost, and maintainability.
- Experience translating ambiguous business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers.
- Ownership mindset: you can move from discovery to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Attention to security, data privacy, and responsible handling of enterprise information.

Nice to have
- Experience with agent frameworks, multi-agent workflows, or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Experience processing PDFs, images, tables, and other complex enterprise documents.




- Familiarity with enterprise analytics, BI platforms, semantic models, or data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, observability, and cloud or customer-managed deployments.
- Familiarity with enterprise identity, role-based access controls, audit logging, and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience in a startup, technical consulting, solutions engineering, or forward deployed engineering role.
