Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and experienced Footwear Designer to join our team at June Shoes LLP. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of footwear design, new trends, material selection, colour combinations, product development, and footwear manufacturing processes.

The candidate will be responsible for developing innovative footwear designs according to market trends, customer requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop new footwear styles according to market trends and customer requirements.
- Create footwear sketches, design concepts, and technical drawings.
- Develop designs for men's, women's, and other footwear categories as required.
- Select appropriate materials, colours, soles, uppers, and accessories.
- Coordinate with the merchandising, sampling, production, and quality departments.
- Prepare design sheets, technical specifications, and product details.
- Work on footwear samples and coordinate with the sampling team for product development.
- Ensure that designs are practical for mass production and meet quality standards.
- Research market trends, competitor products, and recent footwear collections.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials and design requirements.
- Review samples and suggest improvements in design, fitting, finishing,



and appearance.
- Ensure timely completion of footwear development projects.
- Maintain design records, product specifications, and sample details.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of footwear design and development.
- Understanding of footwear materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of colour combinations, styling, and current fashion trends.
- Ability to create sketches and technical design sheets.
- Knowledge of CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other relevant design software is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification Diploma or degree in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in footwear design and development is preferred.

Candidates with experience in footwear manufacturing companies will be given preference.

Salary

Negotiable based on experience, skills, and knowledge.
