FMCG / SUPERMARKET PURCHASER

Location: Kakkanad / Ernakulam, Kerala A leading supermarket and premium fruits & vegetables retail chain is looking for an experienced and dedicated FMCG Supermarket Purchaser to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

Purchase FMCG products, groceries, packaged foods, pulses, nuts, spices and other supermarket items.

Identify reliable suppliers and develop robust vendor relationships.

Negotiate the best purchase prices, credit terms and payment conditions.

Monitor stock levels, fast-moving items, expiry dates and product quality.

Coordinate with store managers to ensure timely stock availability.

Compare supplier quotations and maintain purchase records.

Minimise purchasing costs while maintaining product quality and profitability.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG, supermarket or grocery purchasing.

Good knowledge of FMCG brands, wholesale markets and suppliers.

Strong negotiation, communication and vendor management skills.

Knowledge of Excel and ERP / supermarket billing or inventory software is preferred.

Honest, hardworking and result-oriented.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
