Role Overview

We are hiring a Fixed Income Fund Manager for a growing AMC based in Mumbai. The role involves managing fixed income portfolios, developing investment strategies across debt instruments, tracking interest rate movements, and generating consistent risk-adjusted returns in line with fund objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in debt markets, macroeconomic analysis, credit evaluation, and portfolio management within the fixed income space.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage fixed income and debt portfolios across various duration strategies
- Track interest rate cycles, liquidity conditions, inflation trends, and RBI policy developments
- Analyze government securities, corporate bonds, money market instruments, and credit opportunities
- Develop duration, yield curve, and credit strategies for portfolios
- Monitor portfolio risk, liquidity, and performance metrics
- Conduct credit analysis and evaluate issuers across sectors
- Work closely with dealers, research analysts, and risk teams




- Participate in investment committee discussions and portfolio reviews
- Track macroeconomic indicators and market developments impacting debt markets
- Ensure compliance with internal investment guidelines and regulatory requirements

Candidate Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in Fixed Income / Debt Markets / Treasury / Fund Management
- Prior experience with AMC, Mutual Fund, PMS, Bank Treasury, or financial institutions preferred
- Solid understanding of fixed income instruments, yield curves, duration management, and credit analysis
- Experience managing debt portfolios across short-term and long-term strategies
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- CFA / CA / MBA (Finance) preferred
