Hiring: Fire & Safety Officer (Off Role)

Location: Jharsuguda, Odisha

Experience: 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead fire prevention, protection, and emergency response activities across the plant.
- Ensure operational readiness of firefighting systems, fire alarms, hydrants, sprinklers, fire pumps and emergency equipment.
- Conduct fire risk assessments, safety inspections, audits and statutory compliance activities.
- Organize mock drills, evacuation exercises, fire safety training and awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities for Fire NOC and compliance requirements.
- Prepare safety reports, maintain records and support internal/external audits.




- Ensure compliance with PTW, HIRA/JSA, PPE, confined space, hot work and work-at-height safety requirements.

Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Fire & Safety, Fire Engineering, Industrial Safety.
- Robust knowledge of firefighting systems, emergency management, safety audits and inspections, fire protection system, risk assessment, Incident Investigation & RCA, Fire NOC Coordination and safety regulations.
- Experience in manufacturing, metals, power or heavy industrial environments preferred.
