About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller / Plant Finance Head to take ownership of the financial control and commercial finance function of our Katha manufacturing plant in Sonipat .

The role will focus on manufacturing costing, cash flow, working capital, MIS, P&L; analysis, inventory control and strengthening financial systems and processes .

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete plant finance & accounting operations.
- Handle product and raw-material costing , including cost per kg of Katha.
- Analyse raw-material yield/recovery, conversion cost, labour, power/fuel and factory overheads .
- Monitor inventory, stock valuation and working capital.
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L;, EBITDA and management reports .
- Conduct Budget vs Actual and cost variance analysis.
- Manage cash flow, receivables, payables and working-capital requirements.
- Handle bank facilities, loans, debt servicing and interest costs .
- Strengthen internal financial controls and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance .




- Improve ERP/accounting processes and establish reliable financial reporting.
- Work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores and Management to improve profitability.

Ideal Candidate

- 8–15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/plant finance.
- Strong experience in manufacturing costing, inventory and working-capital management .
- Hands-on experience in MIS, P&L; analysis, budgeting and cash-flow management .
- Experience in banking, loans and working-capital limits.
- Strong ERP and Excel skills.
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com preferred.

Preferred Industry Background Candidates from Katha/Catechu, Cutch, Khair wood processing, tannin extraction, herbal/natural extracts, chemicals, pigments, Ayurvedic, timber/wood processing, leather/tanning, natural dyes, food ingredients, pharma/API, paper/pulp or other process-manufacturing industries will be preferred.

This is not a routine accounting role . We are looking for a hands-on finance leader who can strengthen financial controls, improve costing, manage cash flow and working capital, and provide accurate financial visibility to management .
