Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Own day-to-day accounting operations in Tally.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
- Handle bank, vendor, customer, and payment gateway reconciliations.
- Ensure proper accounting entries, ledger grouping, and expense classification.
- Support monthly book closure and MIS reporting.

2. GST & Tax Compliance

- Handle GST reconciliations and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns.
- Strong understanding of TDS provisions, deductions, payments, and return filing.
- Ensure timely statutory compliance and maintain supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with external CAs, auditors, and tax consultants.

3. Financial Operations & Coordination

- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and external finance partners.
- Track receivables, payables, and payment settlements.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies proactively.
- Support financial reporting, audits, and process improvements.

What We're Looking For
- Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime – must-have.
- Practical experience in GST filing, reconciliations, and TDS compliance.




- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills to independently coordinate with external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, ownership, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced startup environment.
- A proactive mindset – someone who identifies problems and drives solutions rather than waiting for instructions.
