About the Role

We are an early-stage Consumer AI startup looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of our finance, accounting, compliance, and financial operations.

You will work closely with the founders and leadership team to build a strong finance function from the ground up, ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient cash management, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

- Own day-to-day finance and accounting operations , including books of accounts, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and month-end closing.
- Prepare MIS reports, P&L;, balance sheet, cash-flow statements, budgets, and financial dashboards for management.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, payments, and treasury to ensure efficient use of company funds.
- Lead GST, TDS, income tax, ROC, statutory compliance, audits, and other regulatory requirements in coordination with external professionals.
- Work closely with CAs, auditors, tax advisors, banks, payment gateways, and other financial partners .
- Build and maintain solid financial controls, processes, documentation,



and approval systems .
- Support fundraising, due diligence, investor reporting, valuation exercises, and financial documentation .
- Analyse business performance, costs, unit economics, and spending to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved profitability .
- Build financial models and forecasts to support business planning and strategic decisions .
- Identify financial risks and proactively recommend solutions to the founders.
