We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accounts Head to lead and manage the overall finance and accounting operations of our RMC business. The candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, statutory compliance, cost control, receivables, payables, and financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the RMC, cement, infrastructure, or construction industry and the ability to ensure financial discipline and support business growth.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and monthly closing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate accounting of sales, purchases, expenses, assets, and liabilities.

1. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

- Monitor cash flow, fund requirements, and working capital.
- Manage customer outstanding balances, collections, and supplier payments.
- Coordinate with the sales and credit control teams to improve collections.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and provide timely financial updates to management.

1. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Oversee GST, TDS, TCS, income tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and payment of statutory dues.
- Verify tax reconciliations, input tax credit, and vendor/customer balances.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and statutory authorities when required.

1. RMC Plant Costing & Control

- Monitor plant-wise and location-wise profitability.
- Analyze production costs, raw material consumption,



diesel expenses, transportation costs, and operational expenses.
- Review cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, and other material costs.
- Identify cost variances, wastage, and opportunities for improving profitability.
- Reconcile plant production, dispatch, sales, and billing data with accounts.

1. Budgeting, MIS & Financial Reporting

- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Generate monthly MIS reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheet reports.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and plant-wise financial performance.
- Present financial analysis and recommendations to management.

1. Team Leadership & Internal Controls

- Lead and supervise the accounts and finance team.
- Establish proper accounting procedures and internal financial controls.
- Coordinate with purchase, sales, dispatch, stores, and plant operations.
- Conduct periodic ledger reviews and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter or equivalent qualification; CA qualification is an added advantage.
- 10–15 years of experience in finance and accounts, preferably in RMC, cement, infrastructure, or construction.
- Proven experience in managing complete accounting and finance operations.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit procedures.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
