About the Role

Terratone is looking for an energetic and service-oriented F&B; Assistant to support the daily operations of our in-house restaurant, The Tonetable, as well as room service, banquets and hotel events.

The F&B; Assistant will be responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to guests, maintaining cleanliness and proper table setup, taking and serving orders, and supporting the F&B; team in smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Service

- Welcome guests politely and assist them with seating.
- Present menus and provide basic information about available dishes.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Enter orders correctly into the POS/KOT system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Follow up with guests during their meal and attend to additional requests.
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
- Ensure tables, chairs and service areas are clean and properly arranged.
- Assist with takeaway and delivery orders when required.

Room Service
- Receive and coordinate room-service orders.
- Ensure orders are complete before leaving the restaurant.
- Deliver food to guest rooms promptly and professionally.
- Collect used trays, plates and cutlery from rooms in a timely manner.

Banquets & Events
- Assist with banquet and meeting-room setup.
- Arrange tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glassware and service equipment as instructed.
- Serve food and beverages during functions and events.
- Assist with buffet setup, replenishment and clearing.
- Support the team with post-event cleaning and resetting of the venue.

Cleanliness & Service Standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and service stations throughout the shift.
- Ensure crockery, cutlery and glassware are clean and properly maintained.
- Follow personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Follow food-safety and hygiene procedures at all times.




- Report damaged or broken equipment immediately.
- Help minimise food, beverage and operating-supply wastage.

Guest Service
- Respond politely and promptly to guest requests.
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with guests.
- Inform the F&B; Captain or Manager immediately regarding guest complaints or service issues.
- Ensure guests receive consistent and attentive service throughout their dining experience.

Teamwork & Coordination
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen regarding orders and special guest requests.
- Follow instructions provided by the F&B; Captain, Supervisor or Manager.
- Assist colleagues during busy service periods.
- Complete opening and closing duties assigned for each shift.
- Support other F&B; operational requirements whenever necessary.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Freshers with a hospitality background and a good attitude may also be considered.
- Basic understanding of restaurant service is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Presentable appearance and good grooming.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to remain active and on one’s feet for extended periods.

Reporting To: F&B; Captain / F&B; Manager / Operations Manager

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is polite, energetic, responsible and willing to learn. The candidate should be comfortable interacting with guests and should be willing to support all areas of F&B; operations rather than limiting themselves only to table service.

The most significant qualities for this position are good attitude, cleanliness, punctuality, teamwork and a genuine willingness to serve guests well.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
