Job OverviewWe are seeking an articulate, dynamic, and detail-oriented Retail Studio Associate & Client Relations Specialist to lead on-floor operations, elevate the in-store client experience, and drive retail sales at our flagship designer studio.

In this role, you will represent the brand as the primary ambassador on the studio floor—delivering personalized styling consultations, guiding bespoke fittings and trials, managing technical alteration workflows, and fostering enduring client relationships. The ideal candidate blends commercial acumen and consultative selling techniques with a refined aesthetic sensibility and a genuine passion for luxury fashion.

Key Responsibilities1. Client Engagement & Consultative Selling

- Welcome walk-ins and scheduled appointment clients, providing an exceptional, high-touch luxury hospitality experience.
- Deliver personalized styling consultations by deeply understanding client preferences, occasion requirements, body shapes, and aesthetic sensibilities.
- Leverage extensive product knowledge (fabrics, embroidery techniques, silhouettes, and cut/fall) to present collections persuasively and drive commercial conversions.
- Build and maintain a private client book (VIP clientele), driving repeat footfall through proactive outreach for new collection launches and private previews.

2. Trial Execution & Alterations Management

- Supervise outfit trials, assessing fit, drape, and overall silhouette with a sharp eye for garment construction.
- Take accurate fitting notes and measurements; communicate adjustments clearly to master tailors, pattern makers, and the production team.
- Track and manage alteration timelines diligently to ensure error-free finishes and on-schedule handovers for client events/weddings.

Studio Operations & Visual Merchandising

- Oversee day-to-day studio ambiance, ensuring immaculate cleanliness, fragrance, lighting, and fitting room presentation.
- Implement and refresh visual merchandising standards, curating mannequin styling, garment racks, and focal displays to narrate cohesive seasonal stories.
- Assist in periodic inventory audits, stock tracking, and secure garment care on the studio floor.

4. After-Sales Service & Order Coordination

- Serve as the dedicated point of contact throughout the order lifecycle, from down payment to final dispatch or collection.
- Provide structured post-purchase follow-up to address customer inquiries, fit adjustments, or custom order status updates.
- Resolve customer feedback with grace, discretion, and professionalism, safeguarding the brand’s reputation.

Qualifications & Competencies

- Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in retail sales, client styling, or front-of-house operations within a designer studio, luxury boutique, or premium apparel brand.
- Fashion Literacy: Solid understanding of garment terminology, fabrics, surface textures/embroidery, and contemporary Indo-Western/couture design trends.
- Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English and Hindi (Bengali is a plus), with an elegant and skilled grooming standard.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to taking measurements, logging client specifications, and managing handover deadlines.
- Commercial Mindset: Proven track record of achieving sales targets through consultative selling rather than high-pressure tactics.
