Minerva Group of Institutions, Sudhowala, Dehradun is seeking a passionate and experienced Fashion Design Faculty to teach, develop and mentor students. The ideal candidate should be updated with current fashion industry trends, innovations, and technologies and possess solid practical and theoretical knowledge of fabrics, stitching, garment construction, cuts and silhouettes.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

· Teach theoretical and practical aspects of fashion design.

· Guide and mentor students in creative and technical aspects of fashion design.

· Stay updated with current fashion trends, innovations and industry practices.

· Demonstrate practical knowledge of textiles, fabrics, stitching, garment construction, cuts, silhouettes and fashion illustration.

· Develop and deliver effective teaching methodologies and curriculum-related activities.

· Encourage creativity, innovation and professional development among students.

· Maintain a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their potential.

· Participate in academic, departmental and institutional activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Master’s Degree in Fashion Design / Fashion Technology or a relevant discipline.





· UGC NET qualification is preferred.

· Relevant professional certifications and industry experience will be an added advantage.

· 1–3 years of teaching or relevant industry experience preferred.

· Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and mentoring skills.

· Expertise in Fashion Design, including textiles, garment construction, fashion illustration and design development.

· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and other CAD/design software.

· Knowledge of trend forecasting, creative problem-solving and professional networking in the fashion industry.

· Ability to collaborate effectively in an academic environment.

· Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire creativity and innovation in students.
