Techfil Engineering is looking for an experienced Fabrication Foreman to manage daily workshop production, supervise fabrication activities and maintain stores and material inventory.

The candidate should have practical experience in heavy fabrication, be capable of managing workshop activities independently and be willing to perform hands-on fabrication work whenever required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, coordinate and supervise daily fabrication and production activities.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings and assembly details.
- Allocate work to fitters, welders, machine operators and helpers.
- Carry out marking, fitting, alignment and assembly work whenever required.
- Monitor production progress, workmanship and material utilisation.
- Maintain raw material, consumable, tool and inventory records.
- Verify incoming materials and maintain material inward and outward records.
- Identify material shortages and coordinate requirements with management.
- Check fabrication dimensions, fit-up accuracy and assembly quality.
- Ensure proper workshop housekeeping, equipment maintenance and safe working practices.




- Provide daily production updates and report technical or operational difficulties.

Required Skills:

- Experience in heavy fabrication and structural steel fabrication.
- Ability to independently read and understand fabrication drawings.
- Good knowledge of marking, cutting, fitting, welding preparation and assembly.
- Experience in supervising fabrication workers.
- Knowledge of workshop measuring instruments and machinery.
- Basic computer knowledge for production and inventory records.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience: Experience in EOT crane manufacturing, industrial machinery fabrication, structural steel fabrication or material handling equipment manufacturing.

Role Expectations:

This is a hands-on supervisory position involving production management, workshop coordination and stores management. The candidate should be comfortable supervising workers and participating in fabrication activities when necessary.

Pay: ₹22,500.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
