Roles and Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance of goods through customs.
- Prepare and process export documents such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin in accordance with DGFT regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to exports, including customs duties, taxes, and tariffs.
- Manage pre-shipment activities such as inspections, testing, and packaging to meet customer requirements.
Job Requirements :
- 3-15 years of experience in export operations or a related field.
- Robust knowledge of CHA (Custom House Agent) procedures and practices.
- Proficiency in preparing various types of export documentation (e.g., DGFT forms).
- Experience working with customs clearance processes at airports or seaports.
