Job Summary

G. V. Reddy & Co., Advocates is looking for an Experienced Advocate with 10+ years of professional experience in handling civil matters in the High Court and Lawyer Court.

The selected candidate will be responsible for representing the firm's assigned clients in civil matters, handling court proceedings, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing assigned cases effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Represent the firm's assigned clients in civil matters before the High Court and Lawyer Court.
- Appear in court and represent assigned clients effectively during hearings and proceedings.
- Independently handle assigned civil matters and litigation proceedings.
- Draft, review, and prepare petitions, pleadings, applications, affidavits, written submissions, appeals, legal notices, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analyse relevant laws, judgments, precedents, and case records.
- Review case files, pleadings, evidence, documents, and other relevant material.
- Develop appropriate legal strategies for assigned civil matters.
- Prepare case briefs, arguments, written submissions, and other documents required for court proceedings.
- Handle court filings and ensure timely completion of litigation-related requirements.
- Attend hearings and effectively manage assigned matters throughout the litigation process.
- Track hearing dates, case developments, filing requirements, and procedural matters.
- Coordinate with junior advocates and other members of the legal team regarding assigned cases.
- Maintain proper records and documentation of assigned matters.




- Provide timely updates to the firm regarding the progress of assigned cases.

Eligibility & Requirements

- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 10+ years of professional experience as a practicing Advocate.
- Strong practical experience in High Court and Lawyer Court civil matters.
- Extensive courtroom experience in civil cases.
- Valid enrollment with the Bar Council of India / relevant State Bar Council.
- Strong knowledge of civil law and court procedures.
- Excellent legal drafting, legal research, advocacy, and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently handle assigned civil matters.
- Strong courtroom presentation and argumentation skills.
- Good understanding of legal procedures, pleadings, filings, and litigation processes.
- Professional communication and strong case-management abilities.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

Salary: ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.

Work Location: This is a full-time, in office position. The selected candidate will be required to work from the firm's office in Hyderabad.
