Tech Long Packaging Machinery India Pvt Ltd supplies and services packaging machinery in India. All our machinery is manufactured at our own manufacturing facility in China, and the India office handles import, sales and after-sales support.

About the Role

We are looking for an organized Import Export Executive to manage the import of machinery, spares and related equipment from our China factory, arranged for Indian customers, along with customs clearance, documentation and delivery to customer sites in India, so that machines ordered by Indian customers reach them on time and cargo stays compliant.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage shipments of machinery and spares from our China factory to Indian customers, covering booking, freight, sea/air movement, customs clearance and final delivery at the customer site.
- Coordinate with the China factory on ready-for-dispatch dates, packing and loading, so that shipments match customer commitments and delivery timelines.
- Work with the sales and service teams to give Indian customers accurate shipment status, ETA and delivery updates, and to schedule installation after arrival.
- Prepare and verify import/export documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading/airway bill, certificate of origin, Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill.
- Coordinate with customs brokers (CHA), freight forwarders, shipping lines and transporters for timely clearance and delivery.
- Classify goods under correct HS codes and apply the right duty structures, including BCD, IGST and applicable exemptions.




- Track every shipment from the China port of loading to Indian ports (such as Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Chennai) and on to the customer site, and report delays promptly.
- Handle payment-related documentation such as LC, advance remittance and bank documents, along with FIRC/BRC where relevant.
- Maintain compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, RBI/FEMA and IEC requirements, and keep records audit-ready.
- Manage warranty and spare-parts shipments to and from China, including re-exports and re-imports where needed.
- Negotiate freight rates and monitor demurrage, detention and other logistics costs.
- Coordinate daily with the China factory team on production schedules, dispatch plans, packing lists and shipping documents, and resolve discrepancies before cargo arrives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in commerce, business, supply chain or a related field (a diploma or certificate in Import Export Management is a plus).
- Working knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, etc.), customs procedures, ICEGATE and DGFT portals, and China-to-India import procedures.
- Good command of MS Excel, ERP/Tally and email communication.
- Robust English communication; knowledge of Mandarin is a strong advantage for working with our China factory team.
- Attention to detail, follow-through and the ability to work under deadlines.

Good to Have

- Experience importing heavy machinery, with knowledge of ODC cargo and project cargo handling.
- Familiarity with EPCG, Advance Authorisation or other export promotion schemes.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
