Position Description:

The Executive – Global Training supports the Manager-Global Training of ONESEA SHIP MANAGEMENT PRIVATE LIMITED in coordinating training-related activities for crew across the managed fleet. This role includes assisting with scheduling of mandatory and refresher courses, supporting maintenance of the competency courses, e-learning modules and helping organize cadet orientation sessions.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Assists the Manager in coordinating all training-related activities, including scheduling of mandatory, refresher and career-development courses.
- Supports maintenance and updating of the competency courses and e-learning modules under supervision.
- Assists in organizing cadet orientation sessions and maintaining induction materials and checklists.
- Supports tracking of training budgets, invoices and institute contracts as directed by the Manager.




- Maintains accurate training records and certification trackers for all crew ranks.
- Handles basic communication with training institutes and candidates as guided by the Manager.

Requirements:

- Graduate/PG in any relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a shipping training department.
- Basic knowledge of STCW training requirements.
- Positive communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

- Prior exposure to Competency Learning or similar e-learning platforms.
- Familiarity with cadet sponsorship or orientation programmes.

Job Demands and/or Physical Requirements:

- Able to work under pressure during peak training/certification renewal periods.
- May occasionally be required to support pre-joining briefings outside standard hours.
