Estimator (Please Apply from Signage Companies Only)

- Five or more years relevant estimating experience — construction, interior fitout, joinery, metalwork, cladding,facade, electrical or signage.
- Accurate take-offs from 2D drawings and written specifications.
- Rate build-ups, and comparison of subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel. Tested at interview.
- A PDF measurement or take-off tool — Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Cubit, CostX or comparable.
- High standard of written English. Able to write a transparent RFI, assumption note and escalation without rewriting.
- Demonstrated remote delivery to an overseas client team.
- Degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, architecture, or interior or industrial design; or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Preferred

- Pricing for an Australian, UK, US or Gulf client base.
- Signage, wayfinding, shop fitting or retail rollout work.
- Estimating inside a manufacturing company rather than a consultancy.
- Experience submitting priced work directly to a client, with the judgement that goes with it.
- RICS,



AIQS or IIQS membership.
- Australian Standards and state planning-scheme signage rules.
- The rate library, product set and templates.
- The internal systems and the tender portals.

- Identifies scope gaps and prices assumptions explicitly rather than guessing.
- Distinguishes a pricing decision from a commercial decision, and escalates the second without needing to be reminded.
- Will say no to a job that fails the eligibility test rather than having a go at it.
- Works a fixed shift reliably with minimal supervision.
- Accepts review and correction without defensiveness through the ramp period.
- Communicates before a deadline slips.

- Fixed 6:30am – 3:30pm IST, Monday to Friday.
