As a Project Management Consultant, CIVITECH ensures timely completion, quality construction, and strong returns on investment through rigorous planning, monitoring, and risk management.

Role Description The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for structural and civil works. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing drawings and specifications, developing cost estimates, assisting in tender preparation, and supporting bid evaluation with accurate cost data.

The role involves coordinating with design and project teams to validate quantities,



updating estimates based on design changes, and supporting value engineering and cost-control initiatives.

The Estimation

Engineer will also research market rates for materials and labor, assist in vendor and contractor negotiations, and prepare clear estimation reports for internal and client stakeholders. This is a part-time hybrid role based in Delhi, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation, including quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost breakdowns.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Civil Engineering, with the ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation and communication skills to support tender discussions, vendor coordination, and cost approvals.
- Candidates should possess research skills to analyze market rates, benchmark costs, and gather technical and commercial data for estimates.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in estimation for structural or building projects, preferably in consultancy or contracting environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work independently in a hybrid setup.
