Job purpose The Frappe / ERPNext Executive will run, support and improve the company's ERPNext system so that sales, purchase, inventory, manufacturing, accounts and HR work from one reliable source of data. The role combines day-to-day user support with configuration, customisation and reporting on the Frappe framework.

Key responsibilities

ERPNext implementation and configuration

- Configure ERPNext modules: Selling, Buying, Stock, Manufacturing, Accounts, HR and Payroll, as per company processes.

- Set up masters (items, BOMs, customers, suppliers, warehouses, chart of accounts, employees) and keep them clean.

- Map existing business processes to ERPNext workflows and suggest improvements.

- Configure GST settings, e-invoicing and e-way bill integration.

Customisation and development (Frappe framework)

- Create custom DocTypes, custom fields, Client Scripts and Server Scripts.

- Build workflows, approval rules, notifications and auto-email alerts.

- Design print formats (invoices, POs, delivery challans, payslips) using Jinja / HTML.

- Develop custom apps and integrations using Python, JavaScript and REST APIs where needed.

Reports and dashboards

- Build Script Reports, Query Reports and dashboards for management (sales, stock, production, receivables, payables).

- Provide MIS data to the MD and department heads on time.

User support and training

- Act as first point of contact for all ERPNext issues raised by users.

- Train new and existing users department-wise; prepare easy user manuals and SOPs.

- Manage user accounts, roles and permissions.





System administration

- Manage ERPNext updates, backups and restoration on Frappe Cloud or self-hosted server (bench, Linux).

- Monitor system performance, error logs and scheduled jobs.

- Coordinate with the ERPNext implementation partner or vendor, if any.

Data management

- Handle data migration and bulk imports through Data Import and Excel templates.

- Run periodic data audits to catch duplicate, missing or incorrect entries.

Required skills and qualifications

- Graduate in Computer Science / IT (B.E., B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc IT) or equivalent.

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with ERPNext (version 14 or 15) and the Frappe framework.

- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Jinja, HTML/CSS and MariaDB/MySQL queries.

- Understanding of business processes: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, production and basic accounting.

- Familiarity with Indian GST, TDS and statutory compliance in ERPNext.

- Comfort with Linux commands, bench CLI, Git and server basics.

- Good communication in Hindi and English; patience in training non-technical users.

- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to data accuracy.

Preferred (good to have)

- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering company using the Manufacturing module (BOM, Work Order, Job Card).

- Frappe / ERPNext certification or contributions to Frappe community apps.

- Experience with Frappe Cloud, Docker or third-party integrations (WhatsApp, Tally, payment gateways).

- User issues resolved quickly, routine ones within 24 hours.

- ERPNext stays available during working hours with no data loss.

- Daily backups taken and restoration tested every month.

- MIS reports shared with management on schedule.

- All departments working fully in ERPNext, with no parallel Excel records.

- Clean, accurate masters and transactions during audits.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
