Role Overview

We are hiring Equity Research Analysts for the Institutional Equities Desk across multiple sectors. The role involves conducting fundamental research on listed companies, building financial models, publishing research reports, and supporting institutional clients with actionable investment insights.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, excellent understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies, and the ability to independently track companies and sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed fundamental research on listed companies and sectors
- Build and maintain financial models, earnings forecasts, and valuation frameworks
- Prepare initiation reports, result updates, sector reports, and thematic research notes
- Track quarterly earnings, management commentary, industry developments, and market trends
- Interact with company management teams, industry participants, and channel partners
- Generate investment ideas and actionable recommendations for institutional clients




- Support sales teams and institutional clients with research insights and market updates
- Monitor sector developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic trends
- Maintain databases, financial projections, and research documentation

Candidate Requirements

- 4–10 years of relevant Equity Research experience
- Prior Sell-Side / Institutional Research experience preferred

- Robust understanding of

- Financial Statement Analysis

- Valuation Methodologies

- Financial Modeling

- Equity Markets
- Ability to independently cover companies and sectors
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
- CFA / CA / MBA (Finance) preferred
