Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil / Environmental Engineer with strong GIS analytical skills to support urban planning, infrastructure development, environmental assessment, and municipal projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in civil or environmental engineering, along with practical expertise in GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and geospatial data management. Experience working with municipal corporations or urban local bodies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct GIS-based spatial analysis for civil infrastructure, environmental planning, and municipal development projects.
- Prepare, manage, and analyze geospatial datasets, thematic maps, and engineering drawings.
- Perform site assessments, infrastructure mapping, and environmental impact analysis using GIS tools.
- Support urban infrastructure planning, including roads, drainage, water supply, sewerage, and utility networks.
- Analyze land use, land cover, terrain, and environmental datasets to support project planning and decision-making.
- Integrate engineering data with GIS platforms for asset mapping, monitoring, and reporting.
- Coordinate with civil engineering, environmental, surveying, and GIS teams to ensure data accuracy.




- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, maps, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant environmental standards, engineering guidelines, and municipal regulations.
- Support municipal corporation and urban local body projects, including infrastructure planning and environmental management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil or environmental engineering with GIS analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, or other GIS software.
- Knowledge of spatial analysis, geospatial data processing, thematic mapping, and database management.
- Understanding of civil infrastructure, environmental assessment, and urban development projects.
- Experience working with satellite imagery, GPS/GNSS data, and remote sensing datasets is desirable.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering drawings is preferred.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working on municipal corporation, smart city, urban infrastructure, or government projects will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in GIS-enabled civil infrastructure planning, environmental management, municipal engineering, and urban development projects are preferred.
