Entra ID Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and administer Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).

- Manage user identities, groups, enterprise applications, and service principals.

- Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).

- Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access policies, and passwordless authentication.

- Manage application registrations, app permissions, consent, and authentication configurations.

- Implement identity governance, including entitlement management, access reviews, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

- Configure and troubleshoot hybrid identity integration with on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra Connect Sync or Cloud Sync.

- Manage B2B guest access, external identities, and cross-tenant access policies.





- Monitor sign-in logs, audit logs, risk detections, and identity-related security incidents.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in IAM, identity security, or enterprise authentication solutions.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Azure AD.

- Valuable understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, and federation protocols.

- Experience implementing SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and PIM.

- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API.

- Knowledge of Active Directory, hybrid identity, and directory synchronization.

- Experience troubleshooting authentication failures, access issues, and application integrations.
