Key Responsibilities Welding Engineers.

- Prepare and review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ/WQT).

- Develop welding plans, weld maps, and getting approvals from the clients.

- Select suitable welding processes, consumables by coordinating with Cross fictional teams.

- Provide technical support to production and quality teams for welding activities.

- Resolve welding-related technical issues and non-conformities.

- Review material certificates, welding consumable certificates, and technical documentation.

- Monitor welding quality and compliance with approved procedures.

- Participate in internal, client, and third-party audits.

- Conduct welder qualification tests and maintain qualification records.





- Train welders and supervisors on welding procedures and quality requirements.

- Evaluate welding operators' performance and competency.

- Coordinate with NDT personnel and third-party inspectors.

- Witness welding qualification tests and mechanical testing activities at Lab.

- Ensure proper storage, handling, and control of welding consumables.

Required Skills

- Welding process expertise (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW).

- Interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.

- Valuable communication and team coordination skills.

- Proficiency in ERP for consumables indenting and documentation.
