Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose To undergo structured training and gain hands-on experience in mechanical site execution, installation, maintenance, quality, safety, and project coordination while supporting the site engineering team in delivering projects as per approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Site Mechanical Engineer in day-to-day execution and supervision of mechanical works.
- Support installation, erection, alignment, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities at project sites.
- Study and understand mechanical drawings, layouts, GA drawings, equipment specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Monitor site activities and ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other site teams for smooth execution.
- Assist in inspection and measurement of mechanical works and maintain proper site records.
- Prepare daily progress reports,



work completion reports, checklists, and other project documentation.
- Assist in material receipt, inspection, storage, and utilization at site.
- Monitor manpower, tools, equipment, and material requirements for assigned activities.
- Support troubleshooting of site-related mechanical issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety procedures, and project requirements.
- Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site coordination meetings.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, and other departments wherever required.
- Assist in preparing work schedules and monitoring progress against project timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation of inspections, measurements, drawings, and site activities.
- Travel to project locations/sites as required by the organization.
