Job Summary

We are looking for an Electronics Maintenance Engineer responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and service of Non Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment and electronic systems. The role involves ensuring the operational reliability and performance of NDT instruments, probes, scanners, cables, encoders, and other electronic accessories used for inspection and training activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintenance and inventory management of all Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment and accessories.

· Maintain the asset register for NDT instruments, PAUT/TOFD probes, wedges, scanners, encoders, cables, and accessories, with serial numbers and location/custodian tracking.

· Maintenance of the inventory room in an organized manner with proper labelling/tagging of all the NDT equipment and accessories.

· Ensure proper identification and traceability of equipment through serial numbers and asset records.

· Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of NDT equipment and accessories.

· Troubleshoot and repair NDT instruments, electronic circuits, PCBs, probes, cables, connectors, and accessories.

· Maintain an in-house repair facility to attend minor repairs.

· Diagnose equipment faults using appropriate electronic testing and measuring instruments.





· Inspect and test probes, wedges, scanners, encoders, cables, batteries, connectors, and other NDT accessories.

· Conduct functional checks and performance verification of NDT equipment before issuing them for projects.

· Prepare and control PAUT/TOFD kit checklists; manage issue, return, and condition checks for every project mobilization and demobilization.

· Maintain records of damage, repairs, and manufacturer services, and coordinate RMA/repairs with vendors.

· Maintain records of spare parts, electronic components, and critical consumables required for equipment maintenance.

· Maintain equipment service history, breakdown records, repair reports, and maintenance records.

· Coordinate with the calibration team/vendors for timely calibration of NDT instruments and relevant accessories.

· Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

· Coordinate with authorized service centers and manufacturers for major repairs and technical issues.

· Assist technical teams during equipment-related troubleshooting at project sites when required.

· Supervise the Storekeeper and Maintenance Technician; enforce SOPs and HSE practices.





Required Qualifications

· Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, or a related field.

· 5 – 8 years of relevant experience in Electronics Maintenance, NDT equipment maintenance, calibration coordination and technical servicing.

· Experience in electronics maintenance, equipment servicing, or industrial electronic accessories.

· Experience with NDT equipment maintenance will be preferred.

· Good knowledge of electronic circuits, PCB troubleshooting, sensors, connectors, cables, and encoders.

· Ability to read and understand electronic circuit diagrams and technical manuals.

· Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

· Knowledge of testing instruments such as multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator, and other diagnostic equipment.

· Good documentation and communication skills.

· Willingness to travel to project sites for equipment troubleshooting and technical support when required.

Preferred NDT Knowledge

· Basic knowledge of UT, PAUT and TOFD Testing equipment.

· Familiarity with ultrasonic probes, wedges, scanners, encoders, cables, and reference blocks.

· Understanding of NDT equipment calibration and performance verification requirements.

· Experience working with NDT equipment manufacturers or authorized service centers will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹540,000.00 per year
