Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Lead Engineer with 8+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas / EPC / Engineering Consultancy sector. The candidate will be responsible for executing electrical engineering activities, preparing engineering deliverables, conducting electrical calculations and studies, coordinating with vendors and clients, and providing technical leadership throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute electrical engineering activities for Oil & Gas projects in accordance with IEC, IS and applicable international standards, codes and project specifications.
- Perform HV/LV cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit, load flow and electrical equipment sizing calculations.
- Prepare, review and maintain electrical engineering deliverables including:

- Electrical Load List

- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

- Cable Schedules

- Equipment Schedules
- Lighting and Small Power Layouts
- Earthing & Lightning Protection
- Cable Routing and Tray Layouts

- Electrical Datasheets and Specifications

- Construction Work Packages
- Perform power system studies and support electrical system design for project estimate and FEED/EPC phases.
- Review electrical engineering documents, drawings and calculations prepared by engineering teams.




- Perform vendor document/design reviews, provide technical comments and coordinate technical clarifications.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrumentation, civil and other engineering disciplines to resolve interface issues.
- Act as Electrical Lead Engineer for assigned projects/packages and guide junior electrical engineers.
- Monitor engineering progress, identify technical risks and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Support site engineering, commissioning and troubleshooting activities whenever required.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering within the Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Refinery or Industrial Projects sector.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- Solid knowledge of IEC, IS and other applicable electrical standards and codes.
- Good experience in cable sizing, equipment sizing, load calculations and power system studies.
- Experience in preparation and review of electrical engineering drawings, calculations, schedules and technical documents.
- Experience in vendor coordination and technical document review.
- Exposure to FEED, EPC and detailed engineering projects will be preferred.
