Role Description The Electrical / Plumbing (BIM Modeler) will be responsible for developing, updating, and coordinating 3D BIM models for electrical and plumbing systems in building projects. This full-time, on-site role is located in Chennai and involves working closely with project engineers, designers, and other BIM specialists to ensure accurate representation of MEP services.

Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design drawings, creating detailed layouts for piping and electrical routes,



performing clash detection, and preparing model-based drawings and documentation. The role also includes maintaining model integrity, adhering to project standards and timelines, and supporting project teams with revisions, queries, and technical coordination. The BIM Modeler will collaborate with stakeholders to support quality, safety, and efficiency in project delivery.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Plumbing system layout and Pipe routing within building projects.
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance of building services or MEP systems.
- Ability to provide qualified Customer Service and coordinate effectively with project teams and clients.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) for electrical and plumbing modeling.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and MEP design principles.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering field.
- Attention to detail, ability to interpret technical drawings, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in MEP/BIM modeling for commercial or residential projects is an advantage.
