Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to handle electrical works for civil construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and execute electrical works at construction project sites.

- Review electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, BOQs, and approved designs.

- Coordinate electrical activities with Civil, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire & Safety, and other MEP teams.

- Supervise installation of electrical systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, cables, cable trays, conduits, DBs, lighting, power systems, earthing, and electrical equipment.

- Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.

- Coordinate with electrical contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and site teams.

- Monitor daily electrical work progress and ensure completion as per the project schedule.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

- Check material requirements and coordinate with the procurement team for timely availability of electrical materials.

- Inspect electrical materials received at site and ensure compliance with approved specifications.

- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations.

- Ensure proper earthing, cable laying, termination, insulation testing, and electrical safety.

- Identify site issues and coordinate with consultants and project management for technical solutions.

- Monitor manpower productivity and contractor performance.

- Ensure proper coordination between electrical services and civil construction activities.

- Maintain electrical inspection records, test reports, checklists, drawings, and other project documentation.





- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with the Safety Officer to implement safe electrical working practices.

- Conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.

- Assist in preparation and verification of BOQ, quantity measurements, material reconciliation, and contractor bills.

- Support testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final handover of electrical systems.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in electrical works, preferably in civil construction / building projects.

- Strong experience in electrical installation, site execution, testing, and commissioning.

- Candidates with experience in residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, or infrastructure projects are preferred.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of electrical construction and site execution.

- Good knowledge of electrical drawings, layouts, BOQ, and specifications.

- Experience in HT/LT systems, DG, transformer, panels, lighting, power distribution, cable laying, earthing, and ELV systems.

- Good knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures.

- Ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project teams.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

- Strong site supervision and team management skills.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.

- Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and safety practices.

- Ability to work at project sites and meet project deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
