Electrical Project & Maintenance Engineer

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Objective To manage electrical project execution, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of plant electrical systems while ensuring safety, reliability, energy efficiency, and timely project completion.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan and execute electrical projects involving HT/LT panels, transformers, substations, DG sets, UPS, and power distribution systems.
- Prepare project schedules, review electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Manage power changeovers during failures, shutdowns, and blackouts to minimize downtime.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and preventive/predictive maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Monitor power factor, troubleshoot breakdowns, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).




- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, electricians, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage material requirements, project budgets, procurement support, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, EHS requirements, LOTO, and Permit-to-Work procedures.
- Maintain project documentation, maintenance records, commissioning reports, and progress updates.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, and power distribution.
- Experience in electrical maintenance, project execution, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of RCA, preventive maintenance, and energy optimization.
- Proficiency in contractor management, technical documentation, and safety compliance.
