Techfil Engineering is looking for an experienced Electric Wire Rope Hoist Assembly Technician to undertake the mechanical assembly, inspection, testing support, installation and servicing of electric wire rope hoists.

The selected candidate will also support the development and assembly of Techfil's own electric wire rope hoists based on engineering drawings and technical specifications.

We are looking for a technically skilled person who can work independently, identify assembly difficulties, troubleshoot mechanical problems and provide practical suggestions for improving product quality and serviceability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble electric wire rope hoists according to engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Carry out assembly and fitment of gearboxes, rope drums, shafts, bearings, motors and brakes.
- Perform wire rope reeving, sheave installation, hook block assembly and trolley assembly.
- Check mechanical alignment, component fitment, lubrication and assembly accuracy.
- Identify mechanical assembly problems and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform functional inspections and assist with hoist testing according to approved procedures.
- Inspect brakes, limit switches, lifting mechanisms and other safety components.
- Support hoist installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and assist with electrical troubleshooting within the candidate's competency.
- Maintain assembly, inspection and service records.




- Provide practical technical feedback to improve product design, assembly methods, reliability and maintenance accessibility.
- Coordinate with the engineering team during prototype assembly, testing and product development activities.

Required Skills:

- Practical experience in electric wire rope hoist assembly.
- Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings.
- Knowledge of gearboxes, motors, brakes, rope drums, shafts and bearings.
- Experience in wire rope reeving, hook block and trolley assembly.
- Understanding of mechanical alignment, fitting and assembly procedures.
- Experience in hoist maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of hoist electrical systems and safety devices.
- Ability to identify assembly issues and communicate technical suggestions.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and service activities.

Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in electric wire rope hoist manufacturing, hoist assembly departments, EOT crane manufacturing or established hoist service companies will be preferred.

Role Expectations:

The position involves hands-on assembly of electric wire rope hoists, product testing support, installation, servicing and technical improvement activities.

Candidates with previous experience in complete wire rope hoist assembly or major mechanical subassemblies are particularly encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
