Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic overseas education counsellor to guide students and parents in selecting suitable international education programmes and universities. The candidate will be responsible for understanding students' academic goals, recommending appropriate courses and destinations, and supporting them throughout the admission process.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, convincing, counselling, and interpersonal skills, along with a strong understanding of overseas education.

Key Responsibilities: Student Counselling

- Counsel students and parents regarding study-abroad opportunities, universities, courses, and countries.
- Understand students' academic background, career goals, preferences, and budget.
- Recommend suitable universities, courses, and destinations based on student profiles.
- Explain admission requirements, course details, tuition fees, living expenses, and career opportunities.
- Address student and parent concerns and provide accurate guidance.

Admission & Application Support
- Guide students through the complete university application and admission process.
- Assist with university and course selection.
- Coordinate the collection and submission of required documents.
- Follow up with universities regarding applications, offers, and admission decisions.
- Ensure students meet the eligibility and admission requirements of selected institutions.





Visa & Pre-Departure Guidance
- Provide basic guidance regarding student visa procedures and documentation.
- Coordinate with the relevant teams for visa processing and documentation.
- Assist students with pre-departure requirements and preparations.
- Provide guidance regarding accommodation, travel, and other essential arrangements.

Student Follow-Up & Conversion
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students and parents.
- Convert leads into successful admissions through effective counselling and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and follow-ups in the company's CRM.
- Achieve assigned counselling, application, and admission targets.

Market & University Updates
- Stay updated on international universities, courses, admission requirements, scholarships, and study-abroad policies.
- Keep track of changes in admission procedures and visa requirements.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, workshops, and promotional activities when required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in overseas education counselling, admissions, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and counselling abilities.




- Good knowledge of international education destinations, universities, and admission procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple students and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Target-orientated and customer-focused approach.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in overseas education counselling or student recruitment.
- Knowledge of countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Current Zealand, Europe, Malaysia, Russia, and other international study destinations.
- Knowledge of student visa processes and documentation.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and basic computer applications.
- Multilingual communication skills will be an advantage.
