We are looking for an experienced EDM Sparking Engineer for our Tool Room department to handle EDM machining operations related to current mould manufacturing, mould maintenance, and modification activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate EDM Sparking Machines for mould manufacturing, repair, maintenance, and modification.
- Perform EDM machining on mould components as per engineering drawings and electrode designs.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, electrode drawings, and machining instructions.
- Set up electrodes and workpieces accurately, ensuring proper alignment before machining.
- Select suitable sparking parameters based on material, electrode type, and required surface finish.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, profile accuracy, and quality standards during machining.
- Independently perform electrode setting, workpiece setting,



and EDM operations with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate with Tool Designers, Tool Makers, and Quality Inspection teams to resolve machining issues.
- Carry out routine machine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain machining records and adhere to safety procedures and 5S practices.

Required Skills:

- Hands-on experience in EDM Sparking Machine Operations.
- Knowledge of mould manufacturing, maintenance, and modification.
- Ability to interpret engineering and electrode drawings.
- Knowledge of machining parameters, electrode setting, and surface finish requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and quality awareness.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in EDM sparking operations within a Tool Room, Mould Manufacturing, or Precision Engineering environment are preferred.
