This role is for one of our clients

Industry: Technology, Information and Internet

Seniority level: Mid-Senior level

Experience: 5+ yrs

Location: Bangalore, Bengaluru

Job Type: Full-time

This is a senior, hands-on role with real ownership. You will be in front of users, in the numbers and in Figma, helping decide what gets built and why.

What You'll Own

- User research. Usability testing, interviews, surveys and observational studies, planned and run by you, turned into findings the team acts on.
- Wireframes and flows that settle the structure of a screen before anyone argues about pixels.
- Benchmarking and competitor analysis as a continuous feed of best practice into the team, not a one-off deck.
- End-to-end app design, from problem framing through to shipped, measured and iterated.
- Internal platform apps for catalogue, operations and commercial teams, where saved clicks become saved hours.
- Localisation quality across KSA and UAE: Arabic-first layouts and RTL integrity, not English translated late.
- The design system in Figma, keeping the app coherent as it scales.

Requirements

How We Work With AI We are building an AI-native product team. We want a designer already working this way, not one curious about it.

- AI in the design loop: exploring directions, generating variants, and getting to wireframes and working prototypes in hours rather than days.
- AI in research: turning interviews, session recordings, reviews and support tickets into patterns, at a volume manual synthesis cannot reach.
- Judgement about it: knowing where AI accelerates the work and where it produces confident,

generic output worth discarding.

Expect to walk us through a recent project and show us where AI did the work.

What We're Looking For

- Native app and eCommerce expertise. Our iOS and Android apps are the core of this role. You know both platforms' conventions and where they diverge, you have designed inside an app release cycle, and you have shipped digital commerce: browse, search, product pages, cart and checkout.
- Deep UX craft. Research, information architecture, flows and usability are your core, not a phase you pass through on the way to visuals.
- Design that moves numbers. You start from the funnel and the drop-off, and you can say what a design was meant to change and whether it did.
- MENA understanding. You will design for Saudi and UAE customers from Bangalore, which means learning that market deliberately rather than assuming patterns travel. Arabic and RTL experience is a strong plus.
- Speed, across several things at once. Three or four projects at different stages without dropping any, shipping something positive this sprint over something perfect next quarter.
- Open to feedback, quick to iterate. You share work early and unfinished, invite criticism,

and change direction on evidence without taking it personally.
- Senior ownership. You frame a vague business problem yourself and drive it to be shipped. Strong bias for action, comfortable in ambiguity, communicates proactively.

Experience

- 5+ years in product design, most of it on native iOS and Android apps shipped and live at scale.
- eCommerce or digital commerce products designed end to end, with an understanding of how a conversion funnel behaves.
- Hands-on research. You have planned and moderated your own interviews and usability tests, not commissioned them.
- Expert in Figma: components, variables, prototyping and design system ownership.
- A demonstrated AI-assisted workflow, whether Figma AI, Claude, image models or prototyping tools.
- A portfolio that shows outcomes, not only screens. We will ask what changed and by how much.
- Comfortable in analytics yourself: GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar.
- Strong plus: marketplace or retail, internal tooling, Arabic and RTL design.

Must-have skills iOS, Android We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
